Thank you for your interest in volunteering at a Old Union this year! Please review the available volunteer opportunities below and click on the button to sign up.
Please note: In order to volunteer, you must complete an application and a background check to ensure the safety of our students. Applications and background checks must be completed annually to ensure the district has updated information on each volunteer. Please note that a background check can take up to 72 hours to be processed and cannot be done on the spot at the campus.

Cafeteria Helpers
Our fabulous cafeteria staff would love an extra set of hands! Volunteers are needed to help serve lunch to students on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 10:30 AM to around 1:00 PM.
Ms. Linda will give you a quick tutorial to get you started.
Copy Volunteers
Our OUES teachers would love help making copies during their Thursday planning periods.
Teachers kindly ask that you do not exceed the allotted time.
Planning Periods:
Kindergarten: 11:45–12:45
1st Grade: 9:00–9:55
2nd Grade: No volunteers requested
3rd Grade: 1:00–1:55
4th Grade: 1:55–2:50
Kinder Lunch Volunteers
Give our amazing kindergarten teachers a well-deserved break by helping out during lunch! Volunteers will help monitor the kindergarteners in the cafeteria from 10:45–11:15 AM, allowing teachers to enjoy lunch with their team.
Push the OUES Snack Cart
Help spread a little joy through the hallways of OUES! Volunteers are needed to push the Snack Cart—a fun way to treat our incredible teachers with sweet and salty pick-me-ups during their day.
*Donate treats to the cart using our easy Snack Cart Wishlist. Just add to cart, donate, and it’s shipped right to the school.
Spirit Shop Sales on Fridays
Manage the Spirit Shop during open hours on Fridays from 10:30 am to 1:15 pm. Assist guests with finding products, process transactions, and ensure a seamless checkout experience. Special events also available for signup.

Thanksgiving Lunch Staff Coverage
The OUES teachers and staff need volunteers to cover their classrooms/offices during their Thanksgiving luncheon on Wednesday, Nov. 19. The luncheon starts at 1 but they are asking that the volunteers arrive at 12:50 to report to the classrooms and receive instructions.
